New Smyrna Beach Regional Library offers free computer classes

Computer knowledge is just a click away at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library. Check out the free computer classes available in October:

Computer basics – offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 – is designed for beginners who want to learn about the physical components of a computer and get acquainted with terminology. Participants also will explore some of the functions and features of the Windows operating system.

Internet basics will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14. Attendees will learn about the Internet and become familiar with terminology. They also will acquire basic skills to access and navigate web sites, including search engines and online directories.

E-mail and attachments will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28. Attendees will learn all aspects of e-mail, from getting a free e-mail address to composing messages and attaching pictures and documents to e-mails.

All classes will be in the library auditorium. For more information or to register, please call (386) 424-2910, ext. 104, or stop by the library’s information desk.
