Gary Libby to discuss Florida art at City Island library Nov. 10

Gary Libby, director emeritus of the Museum of Arts & Sciences, will discuss his new book, “Reflections: 100 Years of Painting in Florida 1834 - 1934,” at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10. His presentation will be in the auditorium of the Volusia County Library Center - City Island, 105 E. Magnolia Ave, Daytona Beach.

Libby’s book is drawn from Cici and Hyatt Brown’s Florida art collection, which depicts Florida’s natural beauty, famous landmarks and portraits of native Floridians.

Dr. Libby is a nationally published scholar and author on Florida art.
