Author to read from 'Fearsome creatures of Florida' at New Smyrna Beach library Nov. 14

John Henry Fleming, a creative writing professor at the University of South Florida, will read from his new book, “Fearsome Creatures of Florida,” at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library.

Fleming also wrote “The Legend of the Barefoot Mailman” and several short stories that have appeared in literary journals.

This “Live in the Library” performance, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow, and light refreshments will be served.
