UP TO ARMED ROBBERY IN ORANGE CITY HOME
The Volusia County
Sheriff’s Office released composite sketches on Friday of two out of
four men wanted for the armed robbery of an Orange City home late Monday
night. Also, an eyewitness was able to provide a short description
of the vehicle used by the suspects: a small dark-colored sports car.
The
four suspects smashed through a sliding glass door; ransacked several
rooms in the house; and stole cash, jewelry and a video game system.
The composite sketch of the man with a hat is the suspect who was armed
with a handgun, according to the victims. The other sketch depicts
the man responsible for accosting the wife throughout the ordeal.
The
following descriptions are repeated here from the previous release:
Suspect
1: Composite sketch of this suspect—the one wearing the cap—is
provided. White male approximately 18-22 years old. He is about
5’ 9” tall and weighs about 150-160 lbs. He has blonde hair
and mustache. He was last seen wearing a light blue baseball cap,
a baby blue checkered shirt with a white T-shirt underneath, and blue
jean pants.
Suspect 2: White
male approximately 18-22 years old. He is about 5’ 7” tall and
weighs about 150-160 lbs. He has dark, medium length hair and a
mustache. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black jean
shorts.
Suspect
3: Composite sketch of this suspect—the one without a cap—is
provided. White male approximately 18-22 years old. He is about
5’ 7” tall and weighs about 150-160 lbs. He was last seen
wearing a baseball hat and a plaid shirt.
Suspect
4: A male of unknown race approximately 18-22 years old. He is
about 5’ 7” tall and weighs about 150-160 lbs. He was last
seen wearing all black clothing with a black, cloth-type material
wrapped around his head and face.
