TAX FORMS, AARP ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE
AT VOLUSIA COUNTY LIBRARIES

Basic federal income-tax forms are available at most Volusia County public libraries. If the library doesn’t have the form you need, a librarian can help you find it on the Internet.

The AARP Tax-Aide program offers free one-on-one counseling to help individuals prepare basic tax forms, including the 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ and other standard schedules. Assistance is available for people of all ages with low and middle incomes.

Assistance will be offered at these libraries:

• Port Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. every Friday and Saturday through April 11 (except Feb. 14 and April 2, 4 and 10). Appointments are not required. For more information, please call the library at (386) 322-5152.

• Volusia County Library Center at City Island, 105 E. Magnolia Ave., Daytona Beach: 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays through April 15; and 9:30 - 1:30 p.m. Saturdays, Feb. 7, March 7 and April 4. Appointments are not required. For more information, call AARP at (386) 672-3269.

• Ormond Beach Regional Library, 20 S. Beach St.: 9:15 a.m. - 2 p.m. Mondays through April 13; and 9:15 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturdays, Feb. 14, March 14 and April 11. Appointments are not required. For more information, call the library at (386) 676-4191.

• New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway: 4 - 7 p.m. Thursdays through April 9; and 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through April 11 (except Feb. 14. March 14 and April 10). For more information, call AARP at (386) 423-9529.

• DeBary Area Public Library, 200 N. Charles R. Beall Blvd.: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wednesdays through April 15; and 9 - 1 p.m. Saturdays through April 11. For more information, call the library at (386) 668-3835.
