CLAY SCULPTING CLASSES BEGIN APRIL 17 IN DELAND

Volusia County Leisure will offer clay sculpting classes Thursday evenings April 17 - May 8. Classes will be from 5 - 7 p.m. at DeLand Middle School, 1800 Aquarius Ave.

Participants will hand-build, paint and kiln-fire clay art objects under the instruction of a master artist.

The cost of the course is $65, which includes a supply fee. Advance payment and registration are required by April 14. Registrants can pay at the Leisure Services office, 202 N. Florida Ave., DeLand, or download a registration form at www.volusia.org/parks and mail a check and completed form.
