LIBRARY DATABASE CAN HELP GRANT WRITERS

Local grant writers can get a helping hand from a database available at the Volusia County Library Center - City Island, Daytona Beach.

Joanne Kepics will instruct a free class on the Foundation Center’s online database from 2 - 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at the library.

The Foundation Center connects nonprofit organizations and grant makers by maintaining a database of more than 90,000 grant makers and grants. Library patrons may access the database through the library’s subscription. For more information about the Foundation Center, go to www.foundationcenter.org.

Advance registration is required and may be made by calling (386) 257-6037 or e-mailing Sherilyn Brumback at sbrumback@co.volusia.fl.us.

The Volusia County Library Center is open seven days a week at 105 E. Magnolia Ave. For more information about Volusia County’s 16 public libraries, visit www.volusia.org/library.
