The public is invited to enjoy an old-fashioned
Fourth of July celebration at DeBary Hall Historic Site from 10 a.m. - 2
p.m. Saturday, July 4.
Activities at this free outdoor party will be
geared toward young and old. A disc jockey will play patriotic music,
and attendees can compete in a number of events, including pie-eating
contests. Participants may bring a picnic lunch or purchase refreshments
on site.
Tours of the mansion are $5 for adults, $4 for
seniors, $2 for children ages 3 - 12, and free for children 2 and under.
DeBary Hall Historic Site, 210 Sunrise Blvd., is
listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The site is owned by
the State of Florida and managed by Volusia County’s Parks, Recreation
and Culture Division.
