Learn about Victorian music at
DeBary Hall June 20
Learn about “The history of Victorian
music” at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 210
Sunrise Blvd.
Daytona Beach musician Melody Long Anglin
will play the harp and discuss classical and popular music of the
Victorian era and turn of the century. These are the sounds that may
have filled DeBary Hall during the lavish parties it once was known for.
Anglin is a seasoned concert artist,
harpist and vocalist with a master's degree in musical performance and
certification in harp therapy. She owns Harmonious Life and Health
Institute, a company dedicated to the study of musical sound for health
and healing, and performs locally and abroad with MbM Talent.
Her talk is part of Lemonade Lectures, a
learning series about Volusia County’s history. The lecture will be at
the visitors center with a view of DeBary Hall. Light refreshments will
be provided.

Lecture series, please call Heather Hohman at (386) 668-3840. For
