Human Services Advisory Board
to meet July 28

Volusia County’s Human Services Advisory Board will meet at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at the Emergency Operations Center, 49 Keyton Drive, Daytona Beach.

Members will review the fiscal year 2009-2010 Community Service Block Grant contract and discuss community meetings and goals for the next fiscal year, which begins Oct. 1.

This advisory board to the Volusia County Council assists in developing Community Service Block Grant program goals and objectives, identifying community needs, and evaluating program effectiveness.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida Statutes, persons with disabilities needing special accommodation to participate in the proceedings should request assistance at least two business days before the meeting.
