Hunter Safety Course offered at DeBary Hall Aug. 1

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will offer a free Hunter Safety Course at DeBary Hall Historic Site at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1.

A certified fish and wildlife expert will present a workshop at the DeBary Hall Stables, then review gun safety at a gun range. The course teaches wildlife conservation and firearm safety and may be used to complete the mandated requirement for a hunting license. Participants under 16 must have an accompanying parent.
