Oak Hill Public Library offers Wii
Sports,
Family Fun Nights
There’s more to do than read at the Oak
Hill Public Library, thanks to the Friends of the Library, which has
introduced two new entertainment programs.
Children, teens and adults are invited to
play Nintendo Wii Sports at the Oak Hill Public Library Monday through
Friday. Games include tennis, baseball, bowling and golf. Players use a
motion-detecting remote to mimic actions performed in real-life sports,
such as swinging a tennis racket or rolling a ball down the alley. No
experience is required, and participants benefit from mild exercise and
lots of laughs.
Family Fun Nights are offered from 4 - 7
p.m. Thursdays, giving parents and their children an opportunity to play
Wii and board games, explore early learning kits, and use public
computers.
The library’s new hours are 10 a.m. - 1
p.m. and 2 - 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays; 1 - 5 p.m.
Wednesdays; and noon - 3 p.m. and 4 - 7 p.m. Thursdays.
The Oak Hill Public Library is at 125 E.
Halifax Ave. For more information, please call (386) 345-5510.
