Pet Vet Cruiser announces December appointment locations
The Pet Vet Cruiser is a state-of-the-art mobile clinic that offers
free and low-cost spay and neuter services for pets in the
unincorporated areas of Volusia County. The qualifications for service
are based on income and have a sliding-fee scale, according to Becky
Wilson, Volusia County Animal Control Services director.
Residents of unincorporated Volusia County can catch the Pet Vet
Cruiser, by appointment, around the county in December at these
locations:
- Dec. 1, 3, 9, 11,15, 17 and 23: Oakbrook Professional Center, 931
N. Spring Garden Ave., DeLand
- Dec. 2, 4, 7, 10, 14, 16 and 21: Rockin’ Ranch, 801 S. Nova Road,
Ormond Beach
- Dec. 8 and 18: Volusia County Fire Station 23, 1850 Pioneer Trail,
New Smyrna Beach
- Dec. 22: Volusia County Fire Station 31, 1970 S. Volusia Ave.,
Orange City
For services from the Pet Vet Cruiser, appointments are required;
walk-ins are not accepted. Appointments are available from 10 a.m. - 3
p.m.
