CHARTER ISSUES ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO MEET
The Volusia County Charter Advisory Committee will meet Thursday, March 28, at 5:30 p.m. at the Volusia County Library Support Center, 1290 Indian Lake Road, Daytona Beach.
The agenda includes:
- Discussion regarding the position of Chair of the Volusia County Council.
- Provisions regarding the succession of the Chair position.
- How the County Council Chair is elected.
- Authority and responsibilities of the County Council Chair.
- Discussion of matters not on the agenda.
- Public participation.
The committee was appointed by the Volusia County Council to analyze and make recommendations on possible amendments to the County’s Home Rule Charter.
