Public records disclaimer

This service will provide notifications, alerts and emergency updates from Volusia County Emergency Management. |

The Emergency Rental Assistance program provides funds to assist households that have experienced a financial hardship due to or during the COVID-19 pandemic. An eligible household may receive up to nine months of rental and utility arrears and three months of future rental and utility assistance. Register to be notified when the application cycle will re-open and to receive other important information. |

As the county’s Public Housing Agency (PHA), the Community Assistance Division administers approximately 322 housing choice vouchers. The Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) is the federal government major program which assists very low-income families including the elderly, and the disabled to afford decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market. Since housing assistance is provided on behalf of the family or individual, participants are able to find their own suitable housing, including single-family homes, townhouses and apartments. Register to be notified when the Section8 waiting list will re-open and to receive other important information. |
