Public records disclaimer

County Manager

This service will provide bimonthly updates concerning miscellaneous information, agendas and minutes for the Volusia County Council, as well as links to the County Council/County Manager's site with current and interesting information.

Economic Development

A weekly economic development briefing from the Volusia County Department of Economic Development.

Explore Volusia

Volusia County Environmental Management has convened a Water Education Task Team (WETT) to coordinate educational opportunities between all of our divisions, and to focus on water related education through all of our education and outreach efforts.  Sign up to be put on our mailing list for announcements of scheduled classes throughout Environmental Management, including the MSC, LEC and Conservation Lands.

Emergency Management

This service will provide notifications, alerts and emergency updates from Volusia County Emergency Management.

Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERA)

The Emergency Rental Assistance program provides funds to assist households that have experienced a financial hardship due to or during the COVID-19 pandemic. An eligible household may receive up to nine months of rental and utility arrears and three months of future rental and utility assistance.  Register to be notified when the application cycle will re-open and to receive other important information.

Housing Choice voucher Program (Section 8)

As the county’s Public Housing Agency (PHA), the Community Assistance Division administers approximately 322 housing choice vouchers. The Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) is the federal government major program which assists very low-income families including the elderly, and the disabled to afford decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market. Since housing assistance is provided on behalf of the family or individual, participants are able to find their own suitable housing, including single-family homes, townhouses and apartments. Register to be notified when the Section8 waiting list will re-open and to receive other important information.

Ocean Center

This service will notify you about upcoming events and updates at the Ocean Center Convention Center.

Parks, Recreation and Culture

This service will provide periodic updates concerning the activities of Volusia County Parks, Recreation and Culture, including its special events, educational programs and recreational activities for adults and children throughout Volusia County. Click here to get additional information about Volusia County Parks, Recreation and Culture.
