Interesting Facts
The sweet, fleshy white flower petals
are edible and can be added to salads. The fruits, which are also edible, have a
minty-pineapple flavor. They drop when ripe, but inorder to prevent this, pick them
earlier and let them ripen inside. To eat the fruits, cut them in half and scoop out the
pulp with a spoon. |
