The
Junior Lifeguard Program was started in the summer of 1990 as a
springboard for education in water safety, lifesaving techniques and
beach ecology.
Junior
Lifeguards get plenty of fresh air and sunshine along with exercise and
professional surf training. For those students interested in learning
competition skills, a mini team will be created in each session.
Junior
Lifeguards will participate in daily team relays involving surfboard
paddling, swimming, running and beach flags.
Additionally, professional training in CPR and first aid will be
provided.
So,
unless you’re looking forward to another hot, dry summer...Come to the
tryouts and register for a summer of fun! If further information is
