Closes Deltona Early Voting Site Due to Storm Preparations
Supervisor of Elections
Ann McFall announces the closing of the Deltona Early Voting
Site located at the Deltona Municipal Complex due to
preparations for Tropical Storm Fay.
The site will close formally today,
August 18, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.
The Deltona location
for the 2008 elections is housed at Deltona Municipal Complex.
The room utilized for Early Voting
is also Deltona’s
Emergency Operations
Center
and will be needed for city purposes. This location will be
closed until further notice.
Voters wanting to early vote in
West Volusia are encouraged to visit the Deland Historic
Courthouse at 125 W.
New York Avenue,
Deland.
The
New
Smyrna
Beach,
Ormond Beach,
and Daytona Beach Regional Libraries will be closed on Wednesday
only, August 20, 2008.
They will reopen on Thursday,
August 21, 2008 unless there is building damage.
Early Voting sites when
in operation are open from 8:00 am – 4:00 p.m.; early voting for
the Primary Election ends Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.

may answer many questions a person may have prior to voting.
