Student Education Program
The Volusia County Supervisor of Elections offers the
Student Education Program
which has succeeded in providing Volusia County students with an
opportunity to register to vote and also guide students to an
understanding of the importance of a person’s participation in the
electoral process.
We continuously strive each year to reach as many voting-age
students as possible. Outlined below is the program offered to high
schools within Volusia County.
Assembly Format
- Large classroom or auditorium-style set-up.
- Designed for maximum effectiveness in reaching a larger
group of students at one time.
- Students will view the "First Vote" video and a PowerPoint
presentation on the importance of one vote and significance it
can play in your life.
- Opportunity to register to vote.
