Yellow buttons (Balduina angustifolia) is a scrub/sand-hill plant that grows to approx. 2' to 3'. It flowers end of summer through fall, sometimes early winter.  Image 2
Garberia heterophylla is a scrub plant and flowers starting in Fall going into winter. It is listed as "Threatened" (per Florida Statue). The flowers are very fragrant. Bees and Butterflies love this flower. The plant usually is 4' to 5' tall, but can flower at any height (sometimes only 1' off of the ground).  Image 2
Purple Lovegrass (Eragrostis spectabilis) is an upland grass that is now in-flower everywhere in Volusia County.......lot's of it along MLK Blvd south of State Rd. 44.  It is a low growing grass (8" to 12") and if you are "seeing" red or purple...should be Love-grass.  Image 2
Horsemint or Spotted Beebalm (Monarda punctata) is usually found in upland areas but can be found on the edge of wetlands as well.  Image 2

St. John's Wort (Hypericum fasciculatum) An Obligate (wetland) woody shrub....(Native).  Image 2
White-Top Aster (Aster reticulatus; Synonym: Doellingeria reticulata) usually found in Flat-woods to Wetland Buffer areas.....(Native).  Image 2
Pitcher plants growing on the roadside just across from Gene's Steak House on the south side of US92 (International Speedway Blvd.), Daytona Beach (west of ISB/LPGA  intersection).  Image 2
Elliot's Aster (Aster elliottii) is a native and flowers in the fall. Most start in Sept/Oct and can flower thru December.  Image 2
