Solid Waste

The purpose of this portion of the program is to enforce County ordinances and State laws regulating the establishment and operation of solid waste management facilities. Site inspections assist the operator and prevent minor problems from developing into violations. In addition to monitoring permitted facilities, staff also investigates complaints of illegal disposal of solid waste, the majority being construction and demolition debris.
