Controlled Burns Along U.S. 92

U.S. 92 from Indian Lakes Road to Clark Bay is closed due to a planned controlled burn on the south side of 92. The massive smoke over this area is due to this controlled burn. At this time, the controlled burn is being accomplished only by ground crews. Controlled burning is also taking place in other parts of the county today. All fires in Volusia County are contained.
Updates on road closures and controlled burns will be released as conditions warrant.
