MEDIA ALERT

It has been inaccurately reported that some subdivisions in areas of mandatory evacuation have reopened to residents.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, the Rodeo Road and Broadway area off S.R. 40 in Ormond Beach is not opened to residents. The Aberdeen subdivision is opened to residents with identification. All areas of mandatory evacuation remained closed.

Hwy 11 from SR 40 to the Volusia County line is open.
