Honor Guard
|
 |
The Honor Guard consists of nine
firefighters dedicated to showing pride in their country and Volusia
County Fire Services through the discipline of the program. All
participate on a voluntary basis and train a minimum of once a month or
more if events in which they will be participating are planned during the
month. The team recently successfully completed their first competition at
Fire/Rescue East in Jacksonville.
You can see the team at local parades in
Volusia County and they are also responsible for flag folding and posting
a casket watch at funerals as well as participation in other ceremonial
events.
For additional information about the team, please
