Collision at Bellevue Ave. and Tomoka Farms Road
Upon arrival of the first engine crew, two patients were found lightly trapped inside the gray vehicle and four patients were inside the dark, compact vehicle. The two patients, a male and a female, were extricated and the female was transported as an advanced life support patient to the hospital. The male was transported to the hospital as a basic life support patient. The patients inside the dark, compact vehicle were treated as basic life support patients and two of the four were transported to the hospital for further care.
Responding units included: Volusia County Fire Services Engine 17, Engine 15, Squad 12, Battalion 20, EVAC and Daytona Beach Fire/Rescue.
