Property Receives $50,000 Worth of Damage in Fire
Engine 41, Squad 46, Tankers 41 and 45 and Battalion 40 responded to a structure fire on May 2, 2006 on Blueberry Acres in DeLeon Springs. Engine 41 arrived on scene to find a two car garage and boat fully involved. It took crews approximately 15 minutes to get the fire under control. Unfortunately, 100 baby chicks perished in the fire.
