Disaster drill exercise
Training for a mass casualty incident was prepared by the Medical Emergency and Disaster Club of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) and Voluisa County Fire Services participated in the exercise on April 20, 2009. The drill provided an opportunity for the students to test their ability to respond to major emergency incidents. Students set-up the scene, established command of the scene, and completed triage, treatment and transportation of the "'patients." It was a pleasure for the members of VCFS to work with the students and staff of ERAU.
