Lighting Strike Starts Blaze
A lightning strike began a structure fire in DeBary on October 7, 2006. Engines 31, 33 and 34, Tankers 32 and 36, Squad 35, Battalion 30 and Division 12 responded to the incident. Upon arrival, units began an interior attack only to have to pull out due to the amount of fire in the attic. Some personal items belonging to the owners were saved.
