Missing woman found
On August 9, 2009 members of Volusia County Task Force 9 found a missing 75-year old woman who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. She had been missing from her home in DeLand since around 10:30 a.m. on August 6 when she left on foot. She was located in a wooded area off of Marsh Road in DeLand suffering from dehydration and was transported by EVAC ambulance to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach for treatment.
