Volusia County HazMat team responds to tanker spill
At 4:15 a.m. on March 6, a tanker rollover over on the eastbound exit onto State Road 44, closed all lanes of Interstate 4 for more than eight hours. Nearly half of the truck's 8,500-gallon load of diesel and unleaded gasoline flowed into a nearby retention pond. Volusia County Fire Services and Volusia County Hazardous Materials team responded to the scene. No serious injuries were reported.
