Tractor Trailer Accident on I-4

A crane truck blew a front tire and crossed the median on I-4 hitting a tractor trailer hauling new cars and shutting down east and westbound traffic for about an hour.

Assistance on the scene was provided by the Florida Highway Patrol, the Department of Transportation and the Volusia County Sheriff's Office. EVAC transported one patient to the hospital. Fire Services worked diligently to clean up debris and remove all hazards from the scene.
