US 92 van collision
This white pickup truck and a green passenger van collided on US 92 in the area of the DeLand Airport. Battalion 40 arrived onscene, as units were being toned out, to find the pick up truck driver suspended upside down by the seat belt. After stabilizing the vehicle, the driver was removed and had not sustained significant injury. The driver of the van was transported to the hospital with minor air bag deployment injuries. Division 12, Battalion 40, Engine 42, Squad 46 and the Fire Police responded to the scene. International Speedway Boulevard was closed for about 15 minutes while hazards were removed from the road.
