Station 35 located at 630 W. Main Street in Lake Helen opened in 2003.Station 35 provides advanced life support services to patients in the area as well as responds to many serious motor vehicle accidents on Interstate 4.

Three Division Chief's work out of this office providing around-the-clock supervision to the Battalion Commanders that directly supervise the lieutenants and firefighters at the fire stations across the County. Division Chief's work 24-hour shifts, as do the firefighters and lieutenants, working a shift and then returning to work after 48-hours off duty.

The training room can accommodate approximately 20 people and has been used for Community Emergency Response Team training, cub scouts, volunteer drills and other community events.
   
Firefighters have to stay in excellent physical condition in order to perform their duties under difficult and very stressful conditions. The fitness room, equipped with weight bench with Olympic weights and dumbbells, allows them to keep fit while at the station.
