(DBIA) is the "Gateway to
Central Florida", linking
the world-famous Atlantic
Ocean beaches and the
Daytona International
Speedway with Orlando
attractions, Kennedy Space
Center, and historic St.
Augustine. Daytona Beach
International Airport makes
arriving in Daytona Beach as
pleasant as staying here.
Daytona Beach is a
convenient alternative to
the uncertainties of Orlando
and Jacksonville traffic.
Votran
Votran provides
public transportation
services to the community by
fixed-route bus, van pool,
and paratransit services.
The system also contracts
for one of its fixed routes
(i.e., the I-4 Link express
commuter bus service Votran
operates with LYNX Transit)
and some of the
demand-response services it
provides.
Votran’s fixed route system
uses approximately 56
vehicles during peak hour
operation, providing service
on 26 routes. Standard daily
service runs from 6 a.m. - 7
p.m., Monday - Saturday,
with limited fixed route
service on Sunday and at
night.
Taxis
Volusia County is home to a
number of taxi and limousine
services. Daytona Beach
International Airport is
services by
several local
taxi companies.

About the Ocean
Center Parking Garage

CAPACITY:
The Ocean Center Parking
Garage is a six-story,
552,000 square foot concrete
structure. Each floor has
approximately 92,000 square
feet, which allows 1,393
vehicles. The garage can
house vehicles up to 19’ in
length and 7’2” in height.
Oversized vehicles are
invited to park on our
surface lot located on
Auditorium Boulevard west of
the Peabody Auditorium.

ACCESSIBILITY: Parking in
the parking garage includes
31 handicap spaces which are
spread out between five
floors and are located near
the elevators on both the
northeast and southwest
corners of the garage.

SAFETY: The Ocean Center
parking garage is well lit,
with 150 high-watt light
fixtures. The garage is
patrolled 24 hours a day by
in-house patrol staff. A
uniformed Daytona Police
Department is stationed in
the garage nightly.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Uniformed patron services
are on hand 24 hours a day
to assist guests with
special needs. This includes
services such as offering
rides to those who may have
forgotten where their
vehicles were parked or to
those who have difficulty
walking.

LOCATION: The Ocean Center
Parking Garage is located
across the street from the
Ocean Center and next door
to the Daytona Lagoon Water
Park. The garage is easily
accessible from the Hilton
and Wyndham Resorts, both in
Ocean Walk Village. A
pedestrian bridge takes
visitors from the garage’s
second floor over Atlantic
Avenue (A1A) to the Ocean
Walk Shoppes, Daytona Beach
bandshell, and the white
sand of Daytona Beach.

PAYMENTS: New gating and
cashier equipment allows
patrons to pay with cash,
check or credit card.
Parking validation is
currently available through
Ocean Walk Movies 10, Earl
Street Diner and Daytona
Lagoon (so be sure to carry
your parking ticket with you
if you plan to visit these
area attractions).

Ocean Center surface parking
lots
The surface lot at the Ocean
Center, located on
Auditorium Boulevard, has
330 spaces, including eight
handicapped spaces. The
surface lot is staffed
during events and is
patrolled throughout the
day. At night, 22
light posts tower over the
well-lit lot.
The parking lot on the
west side of the new Ocean
Center has 342 parking
spaces.
The north
loading area has 21 spaces.
