C.A.M.P. (County Aqua Marine Program)
A fun water camp offering participants a skilled, aquatic activity
focused on environmental impact, education and safety. The program is
limited to 12 children per session. All instructors are certified divers.
Participants are required to attend classes at a different site each day
of the week. Parents must provide transportation to sites.
Materials: Swimsuit, towel,
sun block, lunch and water bottle

Ponce Inlet and the Marine
Science Center
Fee: $45 per participant, per week
Spring Break Trip Program
Fill your children’s break time with daily trips and lots of
exciting destinations including movies, skating, and water parks.

Ages: Co-ed 6-15
Fee: $5 if child is not registered in the after-school program.
Teen
Club Trips
One Saturday per month to places such as Disney Quest, Wet ’n
Wild, and Universal Studios. Trip times to be determined.

Fee: $5 (plus trip fees to be determined).
Teen
Clubs
After school adult supervision for youth ages 11-15 during the
school year. Teens can enjoy games, receive homework help, participate in
sports and more.
Registration fee: $5 per year
Afterschool Program
Adult-supervised activities Monday-Friday from 2 - 5:30 p.m.
during the school year for children grades K-5. Children can participate
in games and sports and receive homework assistance.

Fee: $5 registration fee plus trip fees ranging from $10-$30 per trip

Arts
'n Crafts for Kids
Learn how to be “crafty”. Dress for a mess!
Materials: Old clothes.
Ages: Co-ed 6-12
Fee: $2 per class

Silhouettes Dance Team
Dance team performs in parades, nursing homes and various other
functions and ceremonies
Materials: To be announced at
first session
Ages: Girls 11-14
Location: Holly Hill Middle School (for Holly Hill students only)

David Hinson)

West Volusia

Field
Trip Program
A fun alternative for kids during teacher duty days, spring
and winter breaks. Trips range from roller skating and movies to a day
at Universal Studios.
Ages: Youths 6-15
Materials needed: Bring lunch and spending money
Registration: Usually 1-2 weeks prior to the trip. Exact dates to be
announced via flyers at the schools listed below.
Registration Sites: Woodward Avenue Elementary and McInnis Elementary
cafeterias, during dates and times listed on flyers.
Fee: $5 registration fee, plus trip fee ranging from $10 - $40
ECHO
Rangers
An Echo Ranger is a student who learns the adventures of the
ECHO (Echological, Cultural, Heritage and Outdoor) offerings in Volusia
County. Must complete a minimum of eight sites. Sites have various
designated dates and times for the activities. Participants must be
accompanied by an adult at all times.
Ages: Children in grades 2 - 6
Fee: $15 registration fee
Canoeing
Go out for a day of fun in the sun and see all of nature’s
magnificent beauty. Take you and yours canoeing on Volusia County’s
rivers, lakes and creeks.
Materials needed: Canoe (or we
will provide it with paddle). We provide life preserver and guide. Large
groups (10 minimum/20 maximum).
Ages: 16 - up
Fees: $15 includes canoe ($10 if have your own craft)
