Volusia County Tag and Tax Offices process all automobile, truck, boat, and mobile home registrations and title transfers in the County of Volusia as an agent for the State of Florida.

Auto tags, boat decals, and mobile home decals can be renewed 90 days in advance of the expiration date. Individually owned auto tags and boat decals expire at midnight on your birthday. Mobile home decals expire at midnight on December 31.

Emergency Contact Registration
The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles urges you to make your emergency contact information available to law enforcement in the event you are involved in a crash or other emergency situation.

It's simple to enroll on-line by going to www.flhsmv.gov/ and selecting emergency contact information. You will be able to enter the names, addresses and telephone numbers for two emergency contact people. That information will be stored in a secure protected database with your driver record or identification card.
