Aviation and Economic Resources

The Aviation and Economic Resources Department oversees three areas:

Coastal Division

This division manages, maintains and improves coastal parks, beach access and coastal recreational facilities for the benefit of residents and visitors.

Daytona Beach International Airport

DBIA is the "Gateway to Central Florida," linking the world-famous Atlantic Ocean beaches and the Daytona International Speedway with Orlando attractions, Kennedy Space Center and historic St. Augustine.

Economic Development

Volusia County's Economic Development Division is dedicated to sustaining economic growth by encouraging new investment and creating value-added full-time employment while maintaining the area's abundant natal and human-made resources.
