Victim reported that between 5/10/12 and 1600 on 5/17/12 his residence at 690 Chestnut Ave. was broken into. Entry was forced at the front door. Numerous items were stolen including jewelry, a small safe, ammunition, reloading equipment, tools, speakers, and a drop gate trailer. The trailer was listed in NCIC/FCIC as stolen. Total value of items stolen is approximately $16,400. Dep. Cranmer has developed information on two suspects. Case is active.  

Victim reported that between 2100 on 5/16/12 and 1130 on 5/17/12 person(s) unknown entered her house and removed the air conditioning unit from the garage.  

V1 reported that D1 has been following, calling, and texting her repeatedly since they ended their relationship. V1 is in fear of D1. An SA707 was completed charging D1 with simple stalking.  

Raul Legarreta, 41 of DeBary, arrested for DUI. BAC was .218/.214. Bond $500.  

Bobbie Jo Menegay, 31, arrested for three warrants for FTA/Worthless Checks/DWLS. Bond $1500.  

Sometime overnight someone entered the the victim's business vehicle (Del Air) and removed several rolls of copper wire.  

Alesia M Doyle, 23 years old, was arrested for an outstanding warrant for failure to appear, no bond.  

Jennifer A Demartino was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear in reference to Petit Theft.  

Karen Cruse reported her two daughters, Tonya (14) and Tabatha (13), as runaways. Both left the house via a bedroom window after going to bed. Foul play is not suspected. NCIC/FCIC entries made, BOLO issued.

***JUVENILE*** (V1) was taken into custody under the baker act after she threaten to kill herself.   

(V1) was taken into custody under the baker act after he put a rifle to his head and told his wife, (R1), he wanted to die.  

(V1) was taken into custody under the baker act after he told his neighbor, (R1), that he wanted to die but God would not let him.  

Barbara Willis (V1) was reported missing by her daughter, Shannon Rodrigues (R1). Rodrigues stated she has not heard from Willis in over ten days. Willis' last know address is in the Port Orange area. The case has been forwarded to District Five for follow up.  

V-1 Estes, Stephanie W/F 08/28/85 (26yoa) V1 Estes reported sometime between 1800-2330 hours on 05/11/12, unknown person(s) removed a cellular telephone from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked near the front of the residence. The cellphone was placed into NCIC/FCIC. Case is active.  

V-1 Chandler, Melissa W/F 09/12/70 (41yoa) V1 Chandler was located in a rear bedroom of the residence by the homeowners deceased. There did not appear to be any signs of foul play. Next of Kin was notified. CID Inv. Seymour responded and the livery service was contacted to remove V1 Chandler from the residence. The M/E was notified as well as the District Commander.  

John Zosel (D1) was arrested after he was stopped for speeding. Zosel was driving on a revoked license for DUI as well as possession of Dextroamphetamine and marijuana.  

XX Juvenile XX D-1 Benitez, Darius W/M 01/04/94 (27yoa) Deputies responded to Florida Hospital in Orange City where they contacted the victim who advised D1 Benitez struck him on the side of the head with his fist during an encounter. V1 lost consciousness and was later transported to another hospital in Orlando for overnight observation and more tests. D1 Benitez was located several hours later and taken into custody without incident for Aggravated Child Abuse due to the age (17-years old) of the victim.   

V-1 Lewis-Schoenwald W/M 09/08/80 (31yoa) V1 Lewis reported sometime between 2100 hours on 05/11/12 and 1100 hours on 05/12/12, unknown person(s) entered his vehicle through the unlocked rear (Jeep) hatch while it was parked in the driveway. After entry, two wallets, two driver's licenses, credit cards and other paperwork were removed. V1 Lewis waited two days to report the incident. Case is active.   

V-1 Wright, Michelle B/F 01/18/80 (32yoa) V1 Wright reported sometime between 05/07/12 and today, unknown person(s) removed two outside A/C units to the residence. V1 Wright did not have any information for the two A/C units (Make/Model/Serial Numbers). Case is active.  

D1 arrested for simple batteryDV on his live-in girlfriend V1. No bond.  

Complaint of a 12-YOA girl being pressured into having sex with a known 15-YOA boy. The case will be forwarded to the Sex Crimes Unit for follow up.

Deputies responded to a physical disturbance. Investigation at scene revealed D1, was the primary aggressor in an altercation with her live-in boyfriend. During the disturbance D1, who was intoxicated, put a chair through a glass door pane to regain entry to the house. She received several lacerations from broken glass while climbing through the door. D1 was arrested for simple battery/DV. She was also found to have an open felony warrant for fraudulent use of personal information and grand theft. She was transported to Fish Hospital Orange City by EVAC for treatment of the lacerations, and will be taken to the Branch Jail when cleared. No bond for the DV. $3000 bond for the warrant (Case #12-14192).  

Deputies responded to the area of W. Highbanks Rd. and Donald E. Smith Blvd. in referance to a complainant having witnessed a black male attempting to start a fire in the wooded area. The suspect, described as wearing an orange shirt, khaki shorts and a ball cap, was last seen running east on W. Highbanks towards DeBary Elementary School. While responding to that incident, another brush fire was reported approximately 1/4 of a mile southwest of the first incident. That fire was in the area of Sackett Rd. and Sycamore Dr. Fire Rescue responded to fight the fires. A perimeter was established, and the area checked with K-9 and Air One with negative results. It should be noted that approximatley 1/2 hour before these incidents, Fire Rescue responded to a brush fire in the area of Sunrise Blvd. and Clara Vista Rd. It is unknown if this fire was related to the other two. The watch commander and assitant district commander were notified. The suspect remains unidentified and at large at this time.  

Someone stole the victim's vehicle trailer, which had a John Deere Zero Turn tractor on it. It occurred at approximately 0930 hours today.  

Someone attempted to enter a storage shed at Valentine Park. It appears entry was not made, but an inventory will determine if it was or not.  

Jasmine Vazquez, 19 years old, was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Dealing in Stolen Property, Violation of the Pawn Broker's Act and Grand Theft. Her bond was $5500  

Max Rinner, 85, collapsed and died in his residence at 130 Brandiwood Ct. Victim's wife and daughter were present. Victim's doctor will sign the death certificate. Meds collected for disposal. Remains were picked up by a cremation service at wife's request.  

V1, requested to file charges against her husband S1, for violating an injunction for protection by calling her on the phone twice. SA707 filed as the suspect resides in Seminole County.  

Manuel Andujar, 47 of Deltona, arrested for DUI. He refused to submit to a breath test. Andujar was booked into the Branch Jail.  

Someone entered the victim's home through a rear door that may have been left unlocked. Nothing was missing from within the home, but items appeared to have been rummaged through.  

Earnest L Pennell, 84 years old, died outside his home while cutting his lawn. No foul play is/was suspected and the death was determined to have been of natural causes.  

Kristen Thompson (V1) advised she parked her 2006 Nissan at Gemini Springs around 1535 hours. When she returned around 1620 hours she found the front passenger side window smashed out and her purse missing. Thompson stated she contacted her credit card company and found her card had been used at Lil Sammy's gas station at 880 Deltona Blvd, Deltona.  

(V1) called 911 to report his girlfriend, (S1) smacked him on the left side of his face during an argument. (S1) was not on scene when Deputies arrived and was unable to be located. An affidavit for battery was completed on Woodard.  

Daniel Lawrence (R1) reported between 04/30-05/10/2012 unknown person(s) removed the air conditioning unit vacant residence owned by Fannie Mae (V1).  

V1 was unable to stand and was incoherent upon arrival. V1 advised she did not care if she lived or died. V1 was not in a proper frame of mind and was a danger to herself. V1 was placed under Baker Act and transported by EVAC to Florida Hospital Fish.   

(D1) was arrest violation of an injunction after he moved next door to (V1). When (V1) came out of her residence (D1) yelled at her "Run bitch run!" (D1) was arrested and transported to VCBJ.  

Sean Atchley (D1) was arrested for driving while habitual. A search of Atchley, incident to arrest, revealed a glass smoking pipe in his pocket. Atchley also had 3 crack rocks in his vehicle.  

V-1 Finn, Judy W/F 06/30/41 (70yoa) V1 Finn reported between 1000 and 1100 hours on 05/09/12, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked rear sliding door. After entry, the subjects removed some costume jewelry and a spare car key. There are no suspects at this time.   

Victim reported that between 2000 and 2020 hours on 5/8/12 person(s) unknown entered his 1994 Chevrolet S10 pick up truck, and stole a Garmin GPS system. No forced entry. No witnesses/suspects.  

Nothing to report.  

Complainant reported that on 5/6/12 at 2100 hours she had an altercation with her 33-year-old daughter Sharon Simmons. Simmons left the residence on foot. Complainant had telephonic contact with Simmons at 1030 on 5/7/12, and believes she is at a boyfriend's in Deltona. Simmons was entered into NCIC/FCIC as missing.  

Meghan Green, 21, arrested for an open warrant for FTA/Retail Theft. Bond $500.  

Nothing significant today.  

V-1 Thomas, Robert W/M 05/18/26 (85yoa) V1 Thomas was located in Seminole County and was returned to his residence. This recovery was confirmed and V1 Thomas was removed from NCIC/FCIC. The Silver Alert was cancelled and the Public Information Officer was contacted for the update to the press release. The Watch Commander and District Lieutenant were notified.   

D-1 Owens, John W/M 12/06/79 (32yoa) D1 Owens was located with an active Felony Warrant for V.O.P. reference to Burglary/Principle. He was arrested and transported to the VCBJ.  

Ellen Thomas (R1) called to report her 85 year old husband, Robert Thomas (V1), missing. Thomas (R1) advised Thomas was last seen around 1415 hours at their residence. Their daughter, Krystin Saviolidis (O1), noticed Thomas' (R1) vehicle was missing and when the residence was checked Thomas (V1) was not there. Thomas (V1) was entered into FCIC/NCIC and a Silver Alert was also issued. The Watch Commander and PIO were notified.   

V-1 Cremer, Denise W/F 07/09/60 (51yoa) V1 Cremer reported sometime between 2130 hours and 2300 hours on 05-05-12, unknown person(s) stole her blue 2007 Suzuki motorcycle from the front of the business. The Florida tag number is 0957LP. The vehicle was entered into NCIC/FCIC as stolen and a stolen vehicle affidavit was completed by V1 Cremer. The case is active.   

D-1 Proudfoot, Joseph W/M 09/16/57 (54yoa) Deputies contacted D1 Proudfoot behind the business with something in his hand. Upon further investigation, the item was found to be a white powdery substance that tested presumptive positive for cocaine. D1 Proudfoot also was in possession of a glass pipe. D1 Proudfoot was placed under arrest for Possession of Narcotics and Possession of Paraphernalia without incident and transported to the VCBJ.

D-1 Combee, Marie W/F 09/15/84 (27yoa) D1 Combee was taken into custody on an active Misdemeanor Warrant for Failing to Appear ref. Driving w/ License Suspended. She was transported to the VCBJ without incident.   

Robert Betts (R1) called the Sheriff's Office three (3) hours after he caught a white male juvenile who had broken into the club house in Meadowlea on the River. Betts caught the subject looking into the refrigerator. When the subject saw Betts he ran out the door. Betts advised they have the subject on video.Barbara Graham (O1), President of the Homeowner's Association, advised she knew the subject on the video as Matthew Green (D1). Deputies responded to Blue Springs Middle School, where Green attends, and arrested him.
