76-YEAR-OLD DELTONA MAN REPORTED MISSING
The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 76-year-old Deltona man who drove off from his home on Arslan Street on Friday and hasn’t been seen since.
According to family members, Charles Henry King is believed to have left his home by car at around 4 p.m. Friday afternoon. He is on several medications and suffers from dementia. Deputies continued their search for King Saturday afternoon, and the Sheriff’s Office also initiated the issuance of a statewide Silver Alert through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

King is believed to be driving a blue, 2001, four-door Lincoln with a Florida tag, I90ZBN. He’s 5’10” and weighs about 180 pounds and has brown eyes and gray hair. Anyone with information regarding King’s whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (386) 736-5999.

Volusia County Sheriff’s deputies searching for Charles Henry King have confirmed that King was at a Race Trac gas station on South Woodland Boulevard south of DeLand buying gas at about 9:15 a.m. Saturday morning. King is still missing at this time and his whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. King was located a short while ago in Sanford, safe-n-sound and in good health.
