Citizen Volunteer Victim Advocate Program

The Citizen Volunteer Victim Advocate Program trains qualified volunteers to function as Victim Advocates who assist the Sheriff's Office by responding to requests for assistance for victims of crime in the unincorporated areas of the county, Deltona, DeBary and Pierson. The volunteers receive Victim Advocacy Practitioner training and work in concert with Volusia County Sheriff's Deputies on various types of incidents.

For more information concerning this exciting program, contact the program coordinator Lt. James Morgan at (386) 323-0151 or e-mail jmorgan@vcso.us
