Art in the Sunshine is on the move
Installation begins on March 17. Rain or shine.

“Art in the Sunshine-A 20 mile road project” is on the move…a new concept on the traveling exhibit. Over 110 Artists from Volusia County along with some artists from Duval, Orange, Broward, Lake and Flagler counties joined together at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach on March 3-4 and 10-11 to have fun transforming old real estate and election signs into more than 300
masterpieces of art for use in enhancing the local landscapes. The old signs were initially destined for the local county landfill.

Beginning March 17, the art will be installed on private property along approximately 20 miles of roads in Volusia County. The display stretches west on LPGA Boulevard from the Williamson Boulevard intersection wrapping around to International Speedway Boulevard; on Williamson Boulevard between Hand Avenue and Dunn Avenue; and then starts at the intersection of International Speedway Boulevard (US92) and Tomoka Farms Road, running south on Tomoka Farms Road for several miles. The artists want to thank the property owners Consolidated Tomoka Land Company, The Daytona Flea and Farmers Market, and Myron and Dorothy Kirton for the use of their property for this outdoor gallery.
