DeBary Hall: Enjoying Nature with Limited Mobility

This presentation at DeBary Hall explores how people of all mobility levels can enjoy meaningful experiences in nature. Learn about accessible trails, wildlife viewing, and adaptive equipment while discovering opportunities to explore two nearby natural areas – Colby-Alderman Park in Lake Helen and Lyonia Preserve in Deltona. Participants will gain practical tips for planning outdoor experiences that can be enjoyed at their own pace. This presentation is part of the free Lemonade Lectures series sponsored by Volusia County. Light refreshments and lemonade will be served.

DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd., DeBary, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s owned by the State of Florida and managed by Volusia County’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Division.
