Children and Families Advisory Board

The mission of the Children and Families Advisory Board (CFAB) is to promote healthy children and develop strong families, which contribute to their communities. The board meets a minimum of quarterly and consists of nine members.

  Upcoming Meetings

The next CFAB meeting is scheduled for April 9, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. in the Ormond Beach Regional Library Auditorium at 30 S. Beach St., Ormond Beach. The public is invited to attend and participate. Two new members will undergo orientation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. before the meeting at the same location. The agenda and additional documents will be posted prior to the meeting.

  Grant Process

Funding is awarded through a Request for Statement of Qualifications process (RSQ). Recommendations for funding are presented to the Volusia County Council for approval. Once approved, the programs enter into a contractual agreement with Volusia County for a specific grant award and a specific service delivery.
