Children and Families Advisory Board

The mission of the Children and Families Advisory Board (CFAB) is to promote healthy children and develop strong families, which contribute to their communities. The board meets a minimum of quarterly and consists of nine members.

The CFAB RSQ subcommittee meeting will be held on April 19, 2024. The meeting will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the TCK Annex Conference Room at 121 W. Rich Avenue, DeLand, FL 32720. The public is invited to attend and participate.

The next CFAB meeting is scheduled for April 23, 2024. The meeting will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Volusia County Historic Courthouse at 125 W. New York Ave, DeLand, FL 32720, in the 2^nd floor training room. The public is invited to attend and participate.

Grant Process

Funding is awarded through a Request for Statement of Qualifications process (RSQ). Recommendations for funding are presented to the Volusia County Council for approval. Once approved, the programs enter into a contractual agreement with Volusia County for a specific grant award and a specific service delivery.
