Volusia County Parks, Recreation and Culture

Whether you want to take a nature walk, see historic sites, learn more about the environment, or take part in cultural opportunities, Volusia County has it all. You also can boat, fish, camp, observe wildlife in its natural habitat, sunbathe and participate in active recreational activities in Volusia County.

Our programs and facilities incorporate a theme that embraces environmental, cultural, heritage and outdoor (ECHO) activities and sites.

Make Park Reservations

Pavilion rentals are available online; all other reservations can be made by calling the Parks, Recreation and Culture office at 386-736-5953.

Veterans receive a 10% discount at Volusia County parks for pavilions, camping, and building/community center rentals.


Art and culture

Volusia County is famed for its miles of beaches, lazy rivers, unsurpassable weather, its forests, quiet towns and sparkling resorts.
