The mission of Purchasing and Contracts is to provide for fair and equitable treatment of all persons involved in public purchasing by the county, to maximize the purchasing value of public funds in procurement, and to provide safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity.
Fraud Warning!
Over the past few months, we have noticed increased activity by fraudulent requests by others posing as County of Volusia employees. Those attempting to commit fraud have used the following email domains which are like ours but not the same as @volusia.org

The County has made efforts to shut down all the above to best of our ability.
The County requests that you be aware and do not ship goods without a valid Volusia County Purchase Order.
Upon receipt of any purchase order, please review closely and confirm the following information: contact name, phone number, email address, the bill to address, and ship to address. If you have any concerns with the validity of the purchase order, please contact Volusia County Purchasing and Contracts immediately at (386) 736-5972 or reaching out to our staff via email. OpenGov E-Procurement
Effective January 1, 2024, vendors registered in the Volusia County Vendor Self Service system will no longer receive notification in the CGI platform of open solicitations.
Open solicitations and resulting information will only be made available on the OpenGov e-procurement platform. To register with OpenGov and receive notification, please visit the following link https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/volusia

Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)
In accordance with the Americans With Disabilities Act (Title III) and Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, disabled persons who need special accommodation to participate in the proceedings, or an interpreter to participate in any proceedings, should contact the county’s ADA Coordinator at 386-248-1760 for assistance at least two (2) business days before any meeting date.
